The Lew's Super Duty G Speed Spool LFS Baitcasting Reel was designed to be a work horse and has earned a reputation for being the reel of choice in heavy-duty fishing situations! A premium 11 bearing system with stainless steel double shielded bearings and Zero Reverse one-way clutch provides high performance and the one-piece aluminum frame reduces size and weight while providing extra strength. The brass gearing also provides extra strength. The Super Duty G reel also features a braid-ready, machined, double anodized, 34mm deep capacity spool, externally adjustable Magnetic Control System (MCS), double anodized aluminum spool tension adjustment with audible click, a rugged carbon fiber drag system that provides up to 20 lbs. of drag power, a bowed, double anodized aluminum star drag with an audible click, a bowed, anodized aluminum “power crank” 95MM reel handle, and a titanium coated Zirconia line guide. The design is rounded out with Lew’s combat style handle knobs and thumb bar and a flipping Speed Switch on XH and XHL models.
