Daiwa was able to achieve this by constructing the body from Zaion, a high density carbon strain material. It is 50 percent lighter and 20 percent stronger than traditional aluminum bodies! Despite the lower weight and smaller size Procyon reels deliver powerful gearing. The Air Rotor and ATD Drag System combine to provide lighter weight and greater strength as well as smooth and consistent start up drag pressure. You will also experience silky smooth retrieves thanks to the Digigears and 7 bearings. Procyon LT reels will deliver powerful, precise, and smooth operation cast after cast!
